Owner’s
Represen

Strategic counsel and the protection of your interests, from the definition of the programme to the closure of the operation.

Strategic
Counsel.
The owner’s representative service consists in accompanying the client at every stage of their project, without ever substituting for their authority. OPUS acts as an independent adviser, safeguarding the project owner’s interests, bringing a comprehensive perspective, analytical capability and a proven methodology.
The objective is to enable the project owner to make informed decisions — technically coherent, financially controlled and contractually secure. From the clarification of initial requirements to the closure of the operation, OPUS structures the project, anticipates risks and facilitates dialogue among all stakeholders, while defending exclusively the interests of its client.
From the selection of stakeholders
to design.
OPUS supports the project owner in assembling the project team and monitoring the design phases.

The selection of stakeholders
The assembly of a competent project team is a precondition for the success of the operation. OPUS supports the project owner in identifying the required expertise — design team, engineering consultants, contractors, specialist advisers — and in the consultation process. Submissions are analysed on a comparative basis, recommendations formulated with objectivity, and assistance continues through to contract execution.
Design phase support
Throughout the study phases — from the diagnostic and initial sketches, through the outline and detailed design stages, to the finalised project — OPUS ensures that the design remains consistent with the defined programme, the approved budget and the project owner’s original objectives. The appropriateness of technical and architectural choices is verified, cost evolution controlled and risks anticipated.
From procurement
to practical completion.
Oversight of the operation through to the full discharge of all contractual obligations.

Procurement of construction contracts
The tendering of contractors and the negotiation of construction contracts represent a decisive moment in the operation. OPUS validates the procurement strategy, analyses tenders on both technical and financial grounds, identifies contractual risks and supports the project owner in the finalisation of contracts. This vigilance ensures that the commitments entered into are clear, balanced and consistent with the project’s objectives.
Monitoring and closure
During the construction phase, OPUS provides comprehensive oversight of the operation on behalf of the project owner. Site meetings are subject to careful analysis, compliance with the programme and financial commitments is monitored continuously. The conclusion of the operation is a critical phase: OPUS attends the inspections preceding practical completion, analyses the defects identified and monitors their rectification with precision, through to the full discharge of all contractual obligations.
